Sprinkler Systems
A fire sprinkler system is a critical active fire protection method that connects a reliable water supply to a distribution piping network with sprinkler heads. Upright and pendent sprinklers create hemispherical spray patterns for maximum coverage. When exposed to heat, the glass bulb inside the sprinkler expands, shatters, and releases the seal, activating water flow to suppress the fire.
Hose Reel Systems
Fire hose reels provide controlled delivery of water or fire retardant to extinguish fires. They can be permanently connected to a building’s plumbing or standpipe system indoors, or connected to hydrants and fire engines outdoors. Hoses are stored on reels—spring-driven, hand-cranked, or motorized—for easy deployment.
Landing Valve Systems
Landing valves serve as manual stop valves within the firefighting network. By rotating the handle counter-clockwise, the valve releases water flow, enabling firefighters to connect hoses and control fire suppression.
Deluge Systems
Deluge systems use open sprinkler heads connected to unpressurized piping. Once activated, water floods the entire system simultaneously. These are ideal for high-hazard environments such as aircraft hangars, chemical plants, and power facilities.
Foam Systems
Compressed Air Foam Systems (CAFS) discharge specialized foam to smother fires and prevent re-ignition. Foam blankets the fuel source, cutting off oxygen and cooling the affected area—effective for liquid and chemical fires.
FM200 Systems
FM200 is a clean agent fire suppression solution stored as a liquid and discharged as a gas within 10 seconds. It extinguishes fires by disrupting the chemical chain reaction (fire triangle: oxygen, heat, and fuel). FM200 systems are safe for occupied spaces and designed in compliance with NFPA 2001 standards.
Hydrant Systems
Fire hydrants provide firefighters with immediate access to water from municipal or private networks. Installed indoors or outdoors, they are commonly found in buildings, industrial complexes, parking areas, roadsides, and mines.
Fire Pumps & Controls
Fire pumps ensure water delivery at adequate pressure for sprinklers and hydrants. Powered by electricity, diesel, or steam, pumps are automatically activated by pressure sensors when demand drops—ensuring a reliable water supply during emergencies.
Piping for Sprinkler Systems
Sprinkler pipes are typically made of carbon steel, black steel, copper, or approved plastics (CPVC, PEX). Designed to carry water or suppression agents, pipes are usually painted red for identification and built to comply with NFPA standards.
MEPCO fire fighting systems combine advanced engineering, robust materials, and smart technology to deliver dependable safety solutions. Whether for residential buildings, industrial plants, or specialized facilities, we provide tailored systems that meet international standards for fire protection.
